This week we will work with the main numbers and their letters. Each number from 1-9 have a set number of letters. For example 1= A, J, and S. This never changes, and never will change.
When we work with these numbers, we add them together to get one main number. When we get that main number, we reduce it if needed.
If I wanted to the Headmaster's name and find his main number it would look like this: (this is where the muggle calculator will come in handy)
1 + 3 +2 + 3 + 1 = 10
4 +3 + 4 + 2 + 3 + 5 + 4 + 6 + 9 + 5 = 45
10 + 45 = 55
Now, 55 is not a number 1-9 so, we must reduce it even more! It looks like this: 5 + 5 = 10
10 is not a main number, so its reduced once more. 1 + 0 = 1
Dumbledore's main number is 1
